Not really not 1 of those players were signed by smith and everyone knows there's big problems off the pitch aswell as on it at wire it'll take at least 2 yrs to turn that around and re-build the squad to smiths standards.

In fairness with the team they played yesterday they should be able to beat almost every side in the league

Your first post pretty much says that Warrington appointing Tony Smith has failed. Considering he's been in place just over a week, that statement is idiotic at best. In fact, it's so crazy, I can't believe anyone would even post it!

Those suggesting McNamara should be gone will argue that he has had a number of years now to sort it out and it's pretty much all "his team". You have to give someone a bit of time.

The problem that Warrington have at present is not solely due to the playing staff's ability out on the pitch

IMO the club has recruited Tony Smith to change the culture of the club, They have obviously got a squad of players that are quite contented on living on "easy street" at present.

Warrington's squad looks quite good, <and they are obviously upto the salary cap levels imposed by the RL, so there's no room for further investment in the squad>

There's clearly enough talent in that squad to finish the season in a top 4 spot,.......but why do they consistantly fail to deliver each season?

I wouldn't be surprised to see the exit from the club of a certain ring leader in the not too distant future if things don't change!

Mr. Hood - Matt King may be available!!!!

Mr Hood?

Now that would be a no-lose situation, wouldn't it?

On another issue, to those boo boys who think their abuse doesn't get to players:
Quote:"The abuse culminated over a period of time before I reached my breaking point and I snapped," the 28-year-old said on the club's official website.

I'd rather the players were concentrating on what's in front of them on the pitch than cretinous abuse.

And if you applied the same logic to Widnes then Cullen is the new messiah

When you're a Bradford fan there's always a light at the end of the tunnel.

Unfortunately it's usually an oncoming train

You mean, were one to impart similitudinous logicality in the context of the Widnesian situation, Cullen may in actuality be a leading contender appertaining to messiah-ness?
