Morley puts in some crowd-pleasing hits but does not represent the calming influence or the captaincy we need in the team at the moment (admittedly, I'm struggling to think of who else we could give the armband to).
Perhaps I'd respect him more if he spent less time providing soundbites to Neil Barker at the MEN and more time actually working with the coach to root out the problems inside the club.

I can agree about the captaincy thing to an extent, however I think that the role of the captaincy is over stated by many. As long as you have plenty of experienc in your team you should be fine.
Morley in my eyes has never let us down, and he is working as hard as ever this year. His metres made is once again excellent.
