I am delighted that a player finally gesticulated to our "supporters" after being subjected to abuse.
So please get off your high horses about him showing the finger. The behaviour of a fair number of individuals on this forum and at the ground is far worse than Matt Kings actions.
I wish that a couple of seasons ago Mike Wainwright had given the fans the old two fingered salute after the constant criticism he took or Jon Clarke had after the abuse directed his way.
How supporters expect players to perform to the best of their ability whilst being subjected to the barrage of criticism they constantly receive from Warrington fans is beyond me.
So lets continue in this vein shall we ... lets boo King onto the pitch next week because thats sure to make him perform better. Lets abuse Monaghan during the game because its really going to improve his performance isnt it.
And lets all boo the team if they concede the first try of the match next week as seems to now be the norm.
So, fair play to you Ma tt King - I'd love to stick 2 fingers up to a number of Warrington fans as well.
He shouldn't have done it, in my old job I use to get abuse everyday face to face but I didn't rise up to it and if I did I would have been sacked. King has just made the situation a lot worse.
Does he offload....he never offloads
Does he score trys...nooo he never scores trys
does he tackle.....he never tackles
he does nothing, Matt King does nothing.

How much influence can he really have whilst playing on the wing and not receiving good ball. Not condoning his actions but tbh i cannot blame him
Totally agree - and I WAS there.
I took his action to be aimed at the one or two individuals who were calling him. Unfortunately it'll be blown up that he's 'against' ALL the fans which I don't believe to be the case for one minute.
He was stupid to respond.
Well in Kingy. A world class player, ruined by this joke of a club. About time someone gave something back to some of the sh1thouses that support Wire.
After the football result yesterday, no one in the pub I was in were really bothered about this score. Goes to show a lot of people are losing the passion they once had for Warrington RLFC, myself included.

Would you apportion any blame at all to Matt King or is it all the clubs/supporters fault he's been crap for 18 months?
If it is the supporter's fault then can I personally apologise to Matt King for my part in the fact that he has played well in about 2 games out of 30 odd.
