That entertainers tag that fax have is ours now, we are the most gifted team outside super league with the ball in hand.

Put plenty of pressure on Ben Black and our halfs will dominate, Beswick will be no match for Smithy God and Toa Balboa and lightening Paddy Flynn will destroy fax out wide. We have to be careful of fat Frank coming from the bench and the other chap with no socks who will knock on constantly from the speed of the defensive line. Penkywicz will realise he is also no match for Smithy god and will drift out wide throwing interception passes. Cullen will have Gleesons game marked down and he will have a stinker. Gaskell will be like a rat in maze and will confuse the fax defence so much that they will be seeing stars at the end of the 80 minutes. Scott Yates will have a 100% kicking record and loz Wildbore will give someone a good slapping with his porno tache. Michael Ostick will smash Jesus (Wrench) also giving himself concussion at the same time but will play on regardless. And on the final whistle Cullen will outspeak Calland making him sound like a chav from Rochdale.

Outstanding, especially after a night on the beer. You talk a good talk, but can your team walk the walk? To take our tag off us you have to entertain - against a decent side. Let's see if you're singing that Paul Weller song on Thursday night.

Ooh, lets see.

As a lover of Paul Weller there are certainly some possibilities:

The Bitterest Pill (For the Fax Fans after a defeat)

The Changing Man / You Do Something To Me - for Paul Cullen

Strange Town - on going to Fax

I will leave the obvious one for you VM, although imagine if we had Jamie Peacock playing for us, there would have been another PW song to add...

This is history. This is history. Right here. Right now. This is history.

I thought it was Widnes?
All games are winnable, whats hard to understand about that.

Wakefield turn over a big club every season and i see no reason why Widnes can't do the same.

I wasn't going to mention Paul Simon's legendary song about leaving Widnes but you've forced me into a corner. I'll be homeward bound on Thursday afternoon too. :)

Right I don't want to play devil's advocate here, but I think people are jumping the gun a little bit. Fair enough we have inflicted two cricket scores in our last two home games, however I think we could have found a messageboard team to beat both of them, well ceertainly Toulouse anyway. Granted we played some cracking stuff, but the nature of both games let us, they were cac, we were allowed to play flowing, expansive rugby.
Next Thursday will be a different kettle of fish completely, THEY ARE the team to beat in this division and away from home I genuinely think we are in for a struggle. Fax are a quick side, so if we defend out wide as well as we can then that'll make things easier. I hope Smithy shows Beswick up, and would love to see Paddy bag another few, potential leading try scorer for me?

an atmosphere that isn't created by people in matching shirts clapping along to a drum or novelty PA music might be nice!
