i liked our trips there - ace place to watch RL, cracking bar under the stand and the washing on the line during the game always made me chuckle.

The old Barley Mow ground was right behind the pub (it had a quaint old wooden double decker stand). Then they moved the pitch adjacent to the pub.

That's it. We had lunch in Gravesend before going to Maidstone. Got stuck in traffic and the team had to change on the coach and ran straight out onto the field from the coach. No wonder we got stuffed is it.

yep Dan it was Trafford Borough who played at Moss Lane , Altrincham from 1989/90 till 1992/3 then reverted to Blackpool Gladiators !!
