He's spot on. Look at Scott Moore, Tommy Coyle and Tommy Lee.

he just needs to keep getting stronger, keeping his flair and his pace if he loses this by getting huge then its another talent wasted. hes an athlete leave him that way. all you need is some grunt up the middle for him to play behind, the only thing is there aint none about.

WAKEFIELD FANS ARE BORN, NOT MANUFACTURED.WE DO NOT CHOOSE, WE ARE CHOSEN. THOSE WHO UNDERSTAND NEED NO EXPLANATION. THOSE WHO DONT, DONT MATTER.

To be fair though in some cases the lads have been pretty big to begin with. Its more a case of people being played at half back who were too big to be halves in the first place. Already big kids were being turned into monsters.

Scott Moore was a bit of a physical freak at 16 years old.

I remember even then saying i thought he would end up at hooker or Loose forward due to his size.

As its turned out he looks like having the makings of a top class hooker.

As for Coyle well he is a failure, and Hull havent given Lee a definitive position which has stifled his development. I actually thought the other year on seeing Lee that he was bulking up to become a ball playing prop, such was his size.

Sam Tomkins reminds me of a young Tommy Martyn, slight of build but with that natural RL flair that cant be taught.
I hope for his and Rl's sake that he develops as a player, because British RL is crying out for players of genuine ability.
His body should be allowed to grow naturally with age, rather than be prematurely bulked out.

Swap Tomkins with McGuire or Burrows last night and i doubt they would of looked much better. Wigans forwards didnt make a platform for a half of any quality to play.

LOL dream on nutter

Newsnight 13th May 2010: "With the role of Deputy Prime Minister a non-job. Has Nick Clegg gone from King Maker to tea maker????"

I kept the faith and I kept voting
Not for the iron fist but for the helping hand
For theirs is a land with a wall around it
And mine is a faith in my fellow man
Theirs is a land of hope and glory
Mine is the green field and the factory floor
Theirs are the skies all dark with bombers
And mine is the peace we knew
Between the wars

Such an intelligent, articulate and well thought out post.

SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS

For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.

For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.

Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row
