I thought it sounded confusing when they were talking about it on the Footy Show last night. But when one of the refs interviewed said it would be like a sort of roaming linesman it did make more sense. I have this mornings game recorded so it will be interesting to see how it worked.

winning like never before. decoys. mouse traps. chicken wings. lollie pops. shepperds. the crusher. grapples. big league. In 1935 The Dragon Slayers as they were known defeated Canterbury bulldogs 91-6, which is still the biggest win in the Club's History. In 1907, the St George district had a club in the Sydney rugby union competition. Interestingly, the team's area was referred to as the 'Illawarra suburbs'. A resolution to form a St George rugby league club was made at a local meeting held in early 1908, but the movement faltered and collapsed. St George, wearing the district colours of red and white, played in the NSWRL's Third Grade competition in 1910, and formed a President's Cup team in 1911. References were found at the time to district teams being called 'The Saints'.the perfect 11

Melbourne Storm captain Cameron Smith backflips on two ref-system
By Josh Massoud
March 14, 2009 Cameron Smith performed a remarkable about-face in his views on the NRL's two-referee system on Friday night, going from cynic to supporter in the space of two weeks.

After he openly criticised the concept in the wake of Melbourne's trial against Brisbane a fortnight ago, Smith emerged from last night's game a converted man.

"I thought it was good -- Shayne (Hayne) and Gavin (Badger) did a good job.

"I thought there was a huge improvement on our trial a couple of weeks ago. It seems as though they've listened to the players and coaches and laid off the whistle."

For the record, 18 penalties were blown in the first-ever NRL game played under the new system but, perhaps more encouragingly, there was not a single referral to the video referee.

Its age Chris, at times you did'nt know which one was making the decisions, skinny ten with one, big ten with other, although i,m watching Bulldogs maul Manly and you can't notice one, which is good, just if we bring it in over here it'll give the fans two guys to rant at, :? :? :?

Nothing confusing about it at all. Worked well and a bold move which is working well for the NRL. I think the RFL will see how this goes for the rest of the NRL season , If it goes well , Then anything to improve the game should be used.
My only concern is the lack of officials in the UK.

Now i*m struggling, and i noticed that the Aussie ref*s swapped over as well...so we would handing over to totally inexpierienced Ref*s...
