I didn't think we'd win tonight but I didn't expect what was pretty much a shambles of a performance. And it's those sort of performances that get peoples backs up.

Dave (back from the USA!)

Yea, he shouldnt have played Carmont if he was ill.

Hock needed reigning in tonight and that didnt happen.

We hardly touched the ball for 25mins, by that time, the game was lost.

The unforced errors CANNOT be attributed to Noble.

The test now comes next week and what changes are made?!

Did you have a nice time in America Dave? I missed you :D
Up and hold the line. As you say against a deep attacking line the defense has no chance, one example being the amount of time Burrow had to make the kick for Halls try, however as a player ( even I know this as an amateur) if you see a deep attacking line then surely you must make the decusion to get up fast and cut down the options in attack. Leeds line speed this evening was superb and they forced numerous errors when you had the ball. I don't rate Noble as a coach and never have done but some blame must lie with the players too, at the end of the day you play whats in front of you and change accordingly.
Leeds did by picking the bench they did. Everything about Wigan was wrong.

A Challenge Cup final and a Grand Final Spot.

I really wish you would deal with the issues rather than try to pick fault in arguments.

because again how long was he in England, like any other Aussie coach he would use Wigan/England as a stepping stone to get to...cowboys etc...look longer term than 2-3 years, now that is it I'm going to bed, good night. hope we've not fallen out, can't beat a good healthy deabte but....I'm right x

Does it matter how long a coach is at a club as long as they bring success, or are you happy with having a coach who will stay at the club but exceed in mediocrity?

So he's not blameless then? That is a start!

Considering it was for work, yes I did thanks. Need to go on the wagon for a week or two. Bloody freezing though. -10c and -14c not uncommon and we had a 12 inch snowfall due to what the locals call "the lake effect" whatever that is.

Dave

I wasn't. I just couldn't remember them winning anything. Monie did him at OT! Relax a little pal.

Murray improved Leeds no question, but seemed to go backwards the longer he was at the Cowboys.

True but I also mean the players, they are 100 times better players than I am and can make decisions much quicker than I (I assume anyway) but many times this evening Wigan held the line instead of rushing up and cutting down the attacking options, OK thery may have been told to defend this way but as a player if what you're doing isn't working surely you take it upon yourselves to rectify this and change your tactics (with or without the coaches consent). I've been involved in games where the tactics employed by our coach were wrong, our captain has stood up and told us to change and things have improved, the coach was man enough to admit he was wrong and praised us as a group for sorting things out between ourselves. Everyone gets things wrong but its how you react to your failings and also admitting them that determines how good a coach you are, this in my opinion is where Noble fails, i get the feeling its my way or the highway with him but your senior players need to stand up and open their mouths in a way which does not undermine the coach, could Noble take it on the chin that he's got something wrong? do the players have the balls to question him?

Given the stick you and others have dished out to my opinions i would suggest in hindsite it is you that needs to chill out.

Its a reality check big time. Everything was wrong tonight from BN and everything was right from BM.
