38-12 full time

Not a bad preformance according to the radio. Commentators seemed to think that ther scoreline dind't really reflect the score. but i suppose they would!

How was it for you lucky guy's who mannaged to get there?

Just got back and looking back I am pleases with what I saw, Saints being obviously the better side dominated and their class showed, but I thought we held our own. Especially in the second half and did the fans who went(not many I might add) proud.

it sounds hopfull to me i listened to it on bbc mersey and yes they played slow and was caught napping in the begining and yes that was a stupid thing they did when the hooter went and helens got a try but alker fitzy cashmere and smith played well and robbie paul was good they showed grit and willing im looking forward to next week

How much better did we look when Turner went to acting half for last 10 minutes, at last we have a hooker who can carry a ball and pass. Not one or the other!

One massive positive from the game along with Phil Leuluai's performance from the bench.

Negatives - kicking game attrocious.
- leaving Ratchford stuck out on wing despite both halves creating nothing.

Some of your younger players did very well for you tonight, but the game was so low in quality and intensity it's impossible judge how either team did.

Saints are in terrible form, Potter admitting his has taken them back to basics to sort out the problems and it showed tonight. A very lacklustre and dull display with so little movement or backing up. Yet we still score 38 points, which doesn't bode well for Salford.

The effort was there from Salford, but there is little to suggest you will make yourselves competitive in Super League unless the majority of the squad are changed. There were some stupid errors from senior players tonight too, such as Alker kicking a 20 yard tap restart directly into touch. I assume he was attempting to set his winger free for the most amazing try ever, but at 6-0 or 12-0 (I can't remember what the score was) it was just unprofessional. 4 points down in the last minute I could excuse it. You also failed to make touch with penalties.

why anyone lets alker kick shocks me even he must admit he does not have a very good kicking technique.
