Don't waste your time drawing up these excuses for losing a meaningless friendly. Players missing etc. Neither side were full strength, who cares. That day you were pants. Last week we were pants. Tomorrow one of us, both of us or neither of us could play pants.

If London is Athens, Yorkshire is Sparta, a tougher community and proud of it.

How can the beat team win?

The team that gets beat, by definition, loses!

I'll take being the best team and winning instead, if it's all the same to you...

:D

Are we just going to stand in silence this week? I did enjoy the quiet last week but I'm pretty sure we should be getting behind the team and giving them something to play for.

Castleford should be scared facing us after the pasting we gave them pre-season.

Huddersfield by 40 points.

I love your optimism i would settle for a dire 1 Dg to nil if it meant we got two points . Although i would prefer us to win 41 points to 40

You are right about the quiet last week. there were two lads behind me last week singing ' we are supposed to be at home and why arent we singing'.

I felt a bit embarrassed but knew where they were coming from. I reckon that we will be a lot better this week. I actually prefer away games so i am sure we will create an atmosphere.

We were so poor last week that the atmos was never going to go anywhere. Saints I also thought was a bit flat though, we may need to have a good crack at it for 'Quins to try and get everyone going.

B. Hodgson,
D. Hodgson
Whaturia,
Lolesi
Lawrence / cudjoe,
Brown,
Robinson,
Jackson
Moore,
Mason,
Crabtree
walsh
Wild

Faiumu,, D. Griffin, Korkidas, Kirmond, .

if everyone is fit this is how i woould like to see the team line up.

I cannot choose between Cudjoe and Lawrence on the wing it depends Lawrence for defence and strength or cudjoe for attacking.

I would like Eorl to be at second row give us some real strength in attack and then to be interchanged at prop. if we can punch some holes in their forwards hopefully create some gaps for wild, walsh and Kirmond to run through.

I would play Korkidas if nothing else it would get him motivated against his old team and show him the coach has confidence in him.

As for Wadski i expected as much :)

Good evening! At least we had some RL talk on here - I got calling into a meeting about developing another new application so missed all the banter I set the stall up for.

The comment was tongue in cheek to get some Rubgy discussion going as all everyone seemed to be doing is infighting. I thought it would provoke some chat about who would win by what - not an indepth discussion on who was missing Pre-season.

For the record Hudson played, Chase whatever his name was looked overweight.

We have beaten Catalan in France and Bradford at Bradford so I cannot see a problem with us walking over Castleford in Cas.

It doesn't take much to make some people think they're different class, does it. Imagine what they'd be like if they won 9 on the bounce...
