How would you feel if someone who [Mod: let's avoid speculation please] was reprimanded, and then told forget it we were wrong to do that and got his original job back.
Just proves that Malcolm Alker can do no wrong

Is that a hint of what happened in Florida???????

For what it's worth, the team became an utter shambles about the same time Alker turned up. He's always given his all on the pitch and suppoedly in training, but there has to be reason why nobody else seems toput in any effort.

Strange post. I've been watching Salford since before Alker, and they have been a shambles for a lot longer than he has been involved.
The season we finished 5th was about the best, and Alker was very much a part pf that.
Rather than pointing the finger at any one individual, I would like to highlight three mistakes;-

Florida - a luxury this club cannot afford
Players being allowed to drink whilst in Florida
Taking the press along so they can report our every move.

There have always been players, either individually or in groups, who think they are bigger than the club - but it's a small club, and it would appear they have the power. Even the fans seem to have some power, and there aren't many of us!

Been a big fan of Alker for many years and wouldn't question he's been our best player over his time with the club. There is definitely something going wrong off the pitch though. How many players show glimpses of how good they really are at the start off their time at the Willows and within a couple of weeks can't be bothered.

Do you believe that Malc got funny with Wilshere exactly because of his drink driving incident and as such his lack of professionalism to the club?

I guess my question is... is it an irony that Malc is getting lots of stick for his alleged unprofessionalism in Florida, when his motivation for whatever the incident was (i still don't know) started with an agrievement to John Wilshere's conduct last season.

I could be well, well off the mark as I know no details at all, just what I pick up on this forum.

Was Malc's intentions driven by his loyalty to Salford?

It's such a strange situation, I seriously can't get my head round it at all.

Of course I am not excusing any bad conduct by any player, I'm just trying to gain an insight into the atmosphere within the team.
