A total disgrace Alker should have been shown the door Not reinstated by the suits looking after their own status.
Ow well at least Sir Mal can't be the leader to get us relegated for what the forth time in his tenure as the Salford trap door has been sealed by Mr Lewis and co at Red Hall.
Pi*s poor Salford..

Very very weak management for me at the very time when we need strong leadership and guidance...this goes all the way to the top too, no two ways about that whatsoever...a very disappointing day for most right-thinking Salford fans.
Interesting to read in the original statement:
Due to his involvement in a number of minor incidents recently, long-standing skipper Malcolm Alker has had the Captaincy of the club removed from him as part of the measures undertaken, other players will be dealt with appropriately.
And the newest statement:
McRae said, “Having spoken at length to Malcolm it was clear that lessons have been learned. He is deserving of this second chance, I have little doubt about that, and I can see in his eyes that he will not let us down. I am very pleased we have managed to resolve this and we can now get back to business with no distractions”.
So he's been involved in a number of incidents but this is his second chance...some good maths there McRae.
And McRae has said we can get on with business with no distractions...does that mean no more p1ss poor excuses for being 30 points down at half time at home???? I somehow doubt it...
Part of me thinks that the club has got the captain that some of the supporters deserve right now.

Maybe it was the right decision maybe it was the wrong decision we wont now until a couple of games in if it is the coach or the players thats goosin the team up but i think it must be pretty embarrassing for parker to lose the captains badge so early, shame really he should have been given a chance rather than people wanting his head yes we lost really badly to the other teams but if all of a sudden we start winining ganes under alker wont it look suspicious and make the club look even dafter than before
