Im going to Brisbane for a month in the summer (July to be exact) . I will have tickets for the Broncos against the warriors and souths and may be going to Sydney and the Gold coast to see games there.

My knowledge of league in brisbane is limited so can any locals recommend any Queensland cup matches or other lower grade matches worth going to see in July??

The Brisbane based teams in the QLD Cup are Easts, Norths, Souths, Redcliffe and Wynnum-Manly.

You've also got Ipswich, Sunshine Coast, Burleigh and Tweed Heads all within an ~hours drive.

Try and get down to Tweed to watch a NSW side play in the Qld cup,a lot of the Titans squad players turn out for Seagulls as well.

thanks for the help. looks like i can make it too a few games n the Qld Cup. oh and it looks like ill be in Sydney for Round 20 of the NRL so i have a choice of the Bulldogs V eels or Souths V Roosters, or even both if the times suit!

both those sydney games are massive local derbies

if their form is good theres a good chance one will be friday night and the other sunday day, given both dogs and souths play at the same ground and both have home games that week

I hope this is the case, i would like to see as many NRL games as possible when i am there.

Also, does anyone know if tickets for games at the ANZ stay on sale at the stadium or wherever right up until matchday?
