bit of fun guys - anyone remember that ? - how many grounds can you name that you have been to that are no longer with us or no longer used for rugby league?

remember you have to have been to them !

here we go:
Fartown (Huddersfield)
Leeds Road (Huddersfield)
Central Park (Wigan)
The Boulevard (Hull)
Wilderspool (Warrington)
Watersheddings (Oldham)
Gigg Lane (Swinton)
Hilton Park (leigh)
Tattersfield (Doncaster)
Belle Vue (Doncaster)
Mclaren Field (Bramley)
Hillsborough (Sheffield)
Owlerton Stadium (Sheffield)
Bramall Lane (Sheffield)
Oakwell (Sheffield)
Harvey Haddon Stadium (Nottingham)
Crystal Palace (London)
Griffin Park (London)
Copthall Stadium (London)
Gillford Park (Carlisle)
Hoghton Road (Highfield))
Hope Street (Prescot)
Canal Street (Runcorn)
Victory Park (Chorley)
Thrum Hall (Halifax)
Valley Parade (Bradford)

i may have missed some but those are off the top of my head !

The Boulevard (Hull)
Wilderspool (Warrington)
Watersheddings (Oldham)
Station Road (Swinton)
Hilton Park (Leigh)
Old Wembley (London)
Thrum Hall (Halifax)
Valley Parade (Bradford)
Maine Road (Manchester) .... bit tenuous
Burnden Park (Bolton)
Naughton Park (Widnes) ... qualifys as a totally new stadium on the same site

And some would say that The Willows (Salford) hasn't been used for Rugby league for a while

I saw Fartown play at Craven Cottage about 1981. No RL there now.

Where did Kent Invicta play :?:

is that the one where there was a river or canal behind the main stand and the balls often got kicked into after a penalty :?:

If so it was one of the roughest places i have ever been i remember it was one scary place. I remember seeing Geoff Fletcher player and manager of huyton a real RL man but as big, ugly and as mean as you could get, rushing out of the shop or bar ( he did everything there) and his toupe falling off. We all wanted to laugh but were far too scared :!:
