Oh yes...that's right. We did receive an extra quota whilst we began development of cockney league internationals like LMS......probably because we needed time to get grass roots RL up and running. What's your excuse? 100+ friggin years and you still can't put an English team together HTH

Fox and Briscoe both deserve to represent their country (and hopefully will shortly), whilst young players like Kris Welham has the potential to in the near future.
P.S. We actually earned our SL place, you'd be fueding with the Skolars every year and the Cougars would be in SL instead if I had my way!

FORMER NRL star Greg Bird was "the victim" when he allegedly assaulted a young woman in a Cronulla nightclub, Sutherland Local Court heard yesterday.
The 25-year-old, who on Thursday flew in from France where he is playing for the Catalans rugby league team, had his one common assault charge upgraded to five charges but believes the evidence of three security guards and security video will clear him.
"Three security officers are able not only to give evidence, but to give evidence to the effect that he was the victim in this matter," his solicitor Patrick Conaghan told the court.

In 1935 The Dragon Slayers as they were known defeated Canterbury bulldogs 91-6, which is still the biggest win in the Club's History. In 1907, the St George district had a club in the Sydney rugby union competition. Interestingly, the team's area was referred to as the 'Illawarra suburbs'. A resolution to form a St George rugby league club was made at a local meeting held in early 1908, but the movement faltered and collapsed. St George, wearing the district colours of red and white, played in the NSWRL's Third Grade competition in 1910, and formed a President's Cup team in 1911. References were found at the time to district teams being called 'The Saints'.the perfect 11
The basis of our judicial system - and that in all the free world (i.e. not China) is that you are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law (not in the press).
That said, I still don't want him at my club, he's just an expensive foreigner taking the place deserved by one of our academy players.
