At home games I always have a couple of pints in the Robins nest, last season had a moan about the rising cost of a pint, this season £5.90 for a pint of bitter and a pint of Lager is just to much, I noticed the bar was not as full as usual, as I think people will just have a pint elswhere.

Agreed me and my friends have a drink in there before games as routine and ive noticed the increase and how it has effected how many go in. I think soccer sensations must be doing a roaring trade as a result

Iv'e ran bars for years, its a false economy to keep raising your prices, if its driving your customers away, you end up making the same money off less people, but have a lot of pi$$ed off fans imo.

Pathetic prices, go to somewhere like weatherspoons in town and you can get a pint for £1.50, go to Makro and you can get a barrel for £50 (well £70 really but you can just take the barrel back to get that £20 back). It's just greed, that's what it is.
