Oh that Medley try. There were so many to choose from.

How long after the JP Final and Widnes game at home was it? As I've said in the past, that Widnes game was my 1st Leeds game.

JP Final - 9th January 1988
Widnes (H) - 17th January 1988
Wigan (A) - 14th February 1988

Remember all those bar the Boston days. You missed out a few of my favourites though. The Wigan player strike match in '72 and the 38-1 in '79 and 70-0 in '05. Happy days.

Remember it well, a Challenge Cup game, that one and a score from Schofield putting Leeds in command before Wigan's customary demolition of all Leeds' dreams.

Wigan V Leeds is still a monster game in my eyes.

I could have mentioned Offiahs 10 tries and the drubbing at Old Trafford, but I was being courteous.

But in all seriousness the Wigan v Leeds games are ones I always look forward to. As I have said on another thread, we'll be in the supporters club (small room) from around 6 p.m tomorrow.

Come and have a chat, we genuinely love and are passionate about our rugby.

For 75 - 0 you get sod all.

Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row

I'd call you a fekkwitt but I've much too respect for you to do that.

Still, I am enjoying my small victory.

Cheers. That settles it, I'm saying it was my first away game. From memory, our 2 tries were scored at the other end from The Kop, where the main part of the Leeds support was gathered.

Go on, it won't be the first time..... surely, it can't be.

How was I to remember Medley had scored more than one great try at Central Park.

However the one I'd forgotten was indeed before Schofield in 85/6 in a 29-6 defeat. Very, run of the mill and forgetable game for some. We were never gonna win that one.

Your memory serves you well and as I don't remember the game being televised you would almost have to have been there to remember that.

Stop calling it 'The Kop'. It was the 'Rathbone Stand' as you well know!

Leeds Rhinos? 8 for you, Leeds Rhinos! You go, Leeds Rhinos.

And none for Castleford Tigers. Bye!

Quite but the Medley try was memorable. A bit like Hanley's for Northern agains Fev in the CC at Headingley, but from a kick off, and not quite as good as Hanley's.

I could be wrong but didn't Medley also set up Schofield's try that day?
