That's why they all extract the urine out of me on the Wigan site.
Now you may not believe this but Leeds are my favourite Yorkshire team. I have some great memories from the past from there, Billy Bostons two magnificent 75 yarders in 1957 (I was six years old at the time), Green Vigos hat trick which virtually ended John Atkinsons career, the mission impossible game when we had to play five games in eight days to win the Championship and many many more.
One of my favourite all time tries was scored by Paul Medley when he was at Leeds playing at Central Park. He flew down the Douglas side touchline towards the Kop end and must have beat five men with ppure pace and power.
Leeds are like Wigan in that they are disliked all over Yorkshire, just as Wigan are in Lancashire (they all hate the big boys) and you've IMO always tried to play good open rugby.
On the Feka thing, I'm glad he's playing for us and not you.
i too remember the 1957 tries by the great man the 13-11 cup game and the 5-5 1st round cup match at headingley then the 32-7 drubbing few days later at CP .

Remember all those bar the Boston days. You missed out a few of my favourites though. The Wigan player strike match in '72 and the 38-1 in '79 and 70-0 in '05. Happy days.

Remember it well, a Challenge Cup game, that one and a score from Schofield putting Leeds in command before Wigan's customary demolition of all Leeds' dreams.

You sure?
I think you're thinking of the game where they all shaved their tashes (inc Cliffy).
I think the Medders try was a league game before Schoey played for us.
I could be wrong though, rare as that is.
Quote:Every player in our squad could probably earn more money with another club. But they prefer to sacrifice a few extra quid in their back pocket to share special memories. And playing at a place like Old Trafford on a night like this makes it all worthwhile.
Leeds other try scorer was Peter Tunks and the solitary goal came from David Stephenson. It was the same season as the great Leeds semi final victory over Wigan at Burnden Park in the Regal Trophy, not that it did them much good in the final despite Roy Powell's best efforts and your mate Schoey hitting a post with a drop goal attempt..
Edit: Except I've probably got the wrong Medley try altogether as the CC try wasn't down the Douglas stand side at all.
