I'm planning a road trip for the game in Beziers and while looking into the various things, I'm finding it hard to find one peice of information. How big a vehicle (size definded on how many seats the vehicle has) can someone drive with a normal driving license in the UK?

For France, you must make sure you carry a Yellow Hi Vis Jacket for at least the driver, a warning triangle and a first aid kit. You can be stopped and checked and pick up a roadside fine (payable on the spot) for not having them.
There is also a weird law where should you come across a stranded motorist, you should stop to assist them (not sure how they enforce fines on that one).

I passed after '96 and I have driven hired minibuses with more than 8 seats.
