Scanachrome will be making the banner. They specialise in making crowd surfing banners (Tifos). Understanding that it can often take a while to get funds for such a project, they take 30% off their prices for fans projects, a superb gesture. This goes to explain why we were getting quotes of upwards of £5 and £6k.
We are still working on the best way to organise the funding, and details will be posted on here next week.
