I thought thats what it would be.

I heard in the pub yesterday that Riley threatened to quit if he wasn't allowed to do the kick-offs.

It is the same for defensive scrums in the oppos half. Riley packs down at 13, this allows loose forward to defend at 6, and also allows the line to get set and the full back to work back all the time without being involved in the play the ball.
