I think it's fair enough. They need to be sure, at point of exchange, that the ticket goes to the person who holds the season ticket and voucher. It stops people turning up with 24 season tickets getting freebies for people who have no intention of going, thus depriving non-season ticket holders of a chance to see the game. I do think ticket sales should be limited to 2 per season ticket holder not 4.
I still predict a riot though.

So my sister is now going to have to make an extra trip to st helens with her baby just to get a ticket I could have picked up for her when I got mine?
Thankfully my dad is off work on friday or he wouldn't be able to get in to pick up his ticket at all.

I couldn't agree more.
Assuming the club has received as many tickets as there are season ticket holders why cannot each season ticket holder have a ticket reserved until, say, Sunday. Then, and only then, any uncollected tickets go on general sale.
What conceivable justification can there be for giving priority to friends of season ticket holders able to attend during the day on Friday (and then buy tickets for such friends) over season ticket holders who are working, live some distance away, or both.

Exactermundo!
As the free round 4 ticket was advertised as another reason to buy a season ticket, people could argue that they are entitled to a ticket. unless of course there is a nice "subject to availiability" notice

Just get with the times!
We get the game credited on to our season ticket cards without having to do anything, technology, it's the future
Wemberlee, Wemberlee, We're the famous Carlisle United and we won at Wemberlee

Even if we had that capability how exactly would that work with an AWAY game and therefore a limited number of people able to attend due to the capacity of the ground and space for away fans?
