Guthrie might not be ready for Saturday which is a big blow. Likely to be a Smith-Geremi central midfield. Butt is back too unfortunately, but with a bit of luck he'll break down in the warm up.

This is what I don't understand, why should he have been banned for longer? What Marney did against Blackburn was far worse but I haven't seen that mentioned. What about fagend doing virtually exactly the same thing as Guthrie at the KC and again at SJP? Again, not mentioned. Funny that, eh? Guthrie's labelled a thug for a petulant kick at someone in frustration yet nothing mentioned about Marney's rubbish kicking and fagend's numerous hacks.

You are clearly on another planet. Guthrie went into that tackle with one thing on his mind and it's quite obvious what that was. Did you not notice the fact that the FL have had their whole procedure for this sort of thing reviewed due to that incident? The MoTD pundits also described the Guthrie ASSAULT as one of the worst they've ever seen. Take your blinkers off.
