What is it with people putting Walton on the wing?? The lad is the size of a prop and I think he had a couple of games there in the reserves last season. Walton on the wing, I don't think so!!
1. Fitzy (even though he has been crap, our outside backs are terrible)
2. Wilshere
3. littler
4. Turner
5. Henry
6. Smith ( Even though his tackling is nothing short of poop)
7. Myler
8. Stapo
9. Alker
10. Cashmere
11. Sibbit
12. Parker
13. Swain
14. Paul
15. Leulaui
16. Sidlow
17. Adamson
Thats what I think Mcrae will go with.

i would try fitzy at half back. after all that was the position he was playing when we signed him. he has a pace that would be better after finding gaps, than after keep on returning kicks and meeting the opposition props. put smith on the bench as he is not fully fit (leg strapped) and i dont think he is playing that well.thats just my opinon

Hmmm i've been thinking along the same lines wilshire to FB, Fitz to 6 although unsure what to do about the wing. How's the young lad we got from saints pre season doing McGilvery is it ? At least we'd have a genuine winger there instead of a make do who doesn't want to be there.
i have been informed not to put the team on anymore because opposition coaches will change the moves to overcome them.but if i where picking the team.1 wilshire 2 henry 3 littler 4 turner 5 white if fit 6 ratchford 7 myler 8 phil 9 alker 10 stapo 11sibbit 12 sidlow 13 swain subs parker paul jewitt adamson

fitzy could be our steve blakley of old. god its ages since we had a stand off with a side step. i think fitzy and myler could frighten the living daylights out of the oposition if given the chance. your right, if mcgilvery is fit then lets see what he can do. jeez we have got to give other options a go,

The main problem (one of many) I can see is we haven't got any "real" wingers in the squad. We're playing Henry/Ratchford/Wilshere on the wings when their best positions are blatantly elsewhere on the pitch (Centre/Stand Off/FB). I can see Gardner scoring a bagful of tries on Friday if our defence is as poor as last week. I know a lot of fans have questioned White's ability to cut it at Super League level but I'm sure he'd do a far better job than anyone in the shirts at the moment.
Whilst I agree with some of the changes suggested, particularly how to get Wilshire more involved the backs are largely an irrelevence until the pack can at least hold their own.
So far this year apart from periods against Celtic (same level as us) we have been battered. Before we go shuffling the backs the pack have to stand up to give some space to the backs to work in. Time for the Front row, which I thought would be our best area to start producing and for the back 3 to give cover on the edge of the middle and to our centres.
Sadly bearing in mind who we play in the next couple of weeks i doubt the results will change, that said all most of us ask is for them to be playing to their max, if we still get beat so be it. Sadly bar one or two (leulai in particular) I don`t believe anyone has.
