Ageing stars simply can't put up the level of performance required be that week to week performances or 80 minute performances.

Players like Wellens and Gardner are found out to be the ordinary player they actually are now that Long, Cunningham, Gidley, Gilmour and the likes are feeling the effects of old father time on them
