seriously....i didnt go cos i was ill, but did anyone spot him during the game, because i reckon a few anti whelan chants are in order, and he can do nowt about it unless it gets obscene or racist........or has everyones memorys gone into meltdown?
How about casting your memory back the the mid 90's when he saved us from extinction after Robinson had run us into the ground. I don't like Whelan or his business practices, but at the end of the day, he has put more money into the club than he has taken out of it, and without him we could be playing at the Reebok.

im not getting back into the pro/anti whelan bebate, its been done to death.
i admire your loyalty (misguided imo ) but anything whelans ever done was for the benefit of whelan and NOT wigan rugby fans. he saw a business opportunity and grabbed it.

even if he does only act in his own interest, we have undoubtedly benefitted from his actions, whether he meant it or not.

Without getting into this one again! Wasn't the JJB only given planning permission on the proviso it was a shared stadium and if so, who needed who most?

I seem to recall this was the statement given out at the time
WIGAN RLFC IS MORE THAN A RUGBY CLUB - IT'S A RELIGION There will always be a Wigan Warriors no matter what the bitter & twisted blues say
