Is it Durham Giant,or is your real name Negative Nigel  FFS man get a grip, because that squad of players are so possitve you would not believe it.The game on friday was lost because Hull were given too much easy ball and feild postion, not because this or that player were missing stop listening to the comic threesome on sky.

I kinda have to agree with Boyd2 on this one, Hull were allowed all the time in the world with us and had so much ball we never stood a chance, all we need to do is increase our retention of the ball, and we give ourselves a chance.

Dont forget with naff all possesion we still scored 4 tries, our attack can do it, if they catch the ball.

will be at Cas and i hope i see Griffin playing. If he is playing i am a bit more hopeful we will get a result.

With the injuries, the way cas are playing and then still not having Griffin i thought we could be on the end of a tonking

hmm.

i am not wanting to be negative but nor am i wanting to be a cheerleader and to sweep everything under the carpet.

I was making a very simple point that without the following players Griffin, Crabtree, Finnigan, Aspinwall, Raleigh and Lunt that we would have been looking very light in the forwards and would have found it very difficult to beat Cas away. if some of those plyers are available then i would be more confident. hardly negative just realistic.

They are in a position where confidence levels could not be higher, who have 4 wins, who appear to be playing very well and have no significant injury worries.

If confidence wins matches then then according to your arguement we will be fine. However maybe Cas's confidence will be enough for them to win. Alternatively the determining factor will be based on the players on the pitch and their performance. Confidence is not everything.

Still you keep saying everything is alright ( i wish i could occupy your world) whilst i will live in a reality where we will judge things by performances and results.

Hopefully we will not make the mistakes we did last week and not gift our opponents the ball on a regular basis. I am certain we cannot play as badly again.

But we are still up against a team who are difficult to beat at the jungle. So we will need a team who can tackle well and forwards who can get on top of our opponents. hopefully Korkidas, Mason and Jackson can do that with all their confidence. me i would feel happier if i was relying on a confident Crabtree, Griffin and Raleigh to do it.

Well i can occupy my world because i am in it ,mate i still think you are negative with your posts you dint have to write a full essay to say what you said, the facts are that those players wont be there and the boys who are ,are very confident, like i said before the game was lost on friday by misstakes not by who was or was not not playing, but you not been a proper RL man i can see what ya saying.

You really ought to learn the difference between Negative, Positive and Realistic. If you had a better command of a words meaning i might need to explain a point a little less.

as for the highlighted bit care to expand, justify it or withdraw it :?:

Writing Messages on here is not my strong point but RL is, i am not going to argue with you,i understand what you are trying to say but we lost the game by playmakers making wrong calls and dropping too much ball, when we played at Bradford Griff and Eorl dint play but we won that game, ie low error count good feild position and from that we went on to win, when we played saints we did not win that because there goal line defence was very good.

the problem is that you being the international man of mystery no one has any idea what you are

Me i am a spectator but i also played RL and RU for 20 years man and boy the highest level i got was a trial at carlisle so you can appreciate the standard was not that high

The difficulty with your arguements is that for you everything appears to be Black and white with no grey areas. e.g.

1 / Our players are confident so everything will be Ok at Cas

2 /we won at bradford due to low error count and good field position (nothing about our excellent defence or Bradfords woeful attack) but even then i am sure we had poor field position we just scored some very good tries.

3/ Saints we did not win because their goal line defence was very good the converse being our goal line attack was not very good :?:

What your posts do show is that there are two facets to every game their team and performance and our team and performance. Their attack and our defence and our attack and their defence The winners of those battles will win the game. Those battles are determined by a lot of differentv things including, luck, refereeing decisions, execution of plays, tackling and confidence. I hope your inside knowledge of how our confidence will overrcome everything else is right.

in the meantime i will do what i can by going to the game and singing and shouting for the team whilst you play with your confidence monitor.
