Not read the thread, but Calderwood could be the biggest waste of a signing I have seen if things carry on (but then again, I only started going to rugby all the time in 2002). I have not once seen him used properly in the games so far. It's early days so hopefully things will change

i'd say since sing. he has got a chance of seeing the ball but not for a few weeks.

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.
He hasn’t performed particularly well so far (we are only four games into the season FFS), but the same could have been said about other recent wingers – at least Calderwood is probably earning a hell of a lot less and not tying up a quota spot.

The last time we used both our wingers hell of alot and played exspansive rugby was probably 2004 when we had Best on the right wing.
Which is a shame for Calderwood as he could score plenty of tries for us if we used him right.

He's been steady and solid in defence(missed 1 tackle out of 20) could work with his centre on high kicks a bit but he's not a liability under them.I think its funny when the pass is nowhere near him and he gets blamed for it going in touch or not managing to go round the man and score in the corner,Heard him blamed a few times for that this year already.
cant be bothered to trawl through the posts , simple answear get a centre partner who can pass the ball . im sure lots of people have already posted this already , as good as g horne is playing learning to pass would help . at least yeaman has got better at this hence briscoe scoring in the last few matches especially the match at home

Isn’t that a bit of a contradiction? The reason he wasn’t used as well as he should have been was because his quota spot/salary was preventing us bringing in what we needed, a playmaker.
