Size, strength and fitness as well as our pattern in defence is hugely impressive.

4 from 4 is a great start considering what many people (including some Hull fans) predicted for the team. We seem to have got that team spirit back that sometimes is enough to win you games when perhaps you dont perform all that well. I'll stick by my prediction that we will comfortably make the play-offs and more than likely top 6, however I cant see us being at Old Trafford, Wembley on the other hand.....

The long kicking has become an issue because CT is standing too far up and is being closed down far too quickly so cant get a decent kick away. We also seem to be kicking on the 4th tackle despite the fact the wingers have already dropped back, I'd like to see us run it more and then when the winger moves back up put the kick in behind.

We now visit a depleted Bulls side low on confidence followed by Cas at home and then Quins away. No reason we cant win all 3 of those (not saying we will) and we would then be in a great position to really push for a high finish in the league. We are very much a team that thrives on confidence and the start we have made can only help.

Good to see Yeamo's effort included in the Hullfc.tv highlights :thumb:

So strange having Wakefield in the same sentence as those teams:D

Wakey, Saints and the Bulls have all flattered to decieve so far this year ... in fact the bulls have struggled whilst Saints have scraped a couple of sneaky wins.

We are were we are on merit, I wish people would stop looking for reasons to complain or knock the club.

its strange having Bradford in that list, considering they've only had 1 draw and no wins so far this season, and had their arses comprehensively handed to them by a previously dire Wigan team.

More still to come i think but 8/10 so far..............lets face it,cant be no worse than last season can it.

exactly, last season we'd have most likely not turned up for 20mins, then attempt to get back into the game for 40mins, then not be fit enough for the last 20. This seasons attitude and fitness is much improved.

at the start of the season I expected us to be about 6th-8th, just making the playoffs, now I will be disappointed if we aren't top 4.

If we are unbeaten after Easter then we know we are on to something this season.

If we are unbeaten up until Easter we should be ok.

Bradford, Cas and Quins are all games we ought to win if we're going to stand a realistic chance of a top four finish. The derby and Saints away are both going to be very hard games, but I'd like to see us win at least one - preferably the derby!

The thing that has stood out for me this season has been the obvious improvement in the conditioning of the players. We looked unfit - bordering on lazy - at times last season. This year we look bigger, faster, sharper and meaner.

The attacking play close to the line needs to improve substantially for us to be serious contenders. We seem to have no problem getting into the opposition 20, but, at times, have little idea what to do when we get there.

It's early days though, and I'm a million percent more hopeful than I was before the start of the season. I reckon we'll finish somewhere between 3rd and 6th.
