I will have my flag with me though so depending on how we play it might just be waved. :)

To be expected plus it is a bit of a trek - if you plan on attending a few away games this season you’ll sure be clocking up some miles!

Give that flag a mighty wave , any away support this Sunday will be congratulated i’d say. :thumb:

I'll be there this Sunday and with it being about a 5hr trip, I don't expect many more will be making it

I'll also be there for the Challenge Cup game, especially, as I have a free ticket in my Season ticket :D

TBH, I think I'll be at all the away games this season, as I was for most last season, even making an appeareance at Whitehaven last year and definately be a Catalans this year :o

Yes everyone wants to watch their team against the citys most sucessful side and they can't do that at the KC

HULL KINGSTON ROVERS is my religion, Craven Park is my church and Jordan Abdull is my God

I should be doing most but the CC game looks a no no as it will most probably be on the Sunday.

I think our away support will increase with the home support. We're looking to whack a few leaflets out a few leaflets with on the day sales at the Wakey home game and see what the reaction is to that as at the moment the supporters club office is unmarked and in the stand where not many see it and the link to away travel tucked away on our official website.

As someone has already said the club look to get people through the home turnstiles first and foremost which is understandable.

It will take a few years to get CC fans travelling in numbers. It just takes time. Obviously success will help, and if teams struggle to travel to cumbria then the Crusaders could make their home something of a fortress, that will bring some success, fans will turn up and build on the good crowds they are already getting and an extention of that will be more wanting to travel away.

DANNY LOCKWOOD - LEAGUE WEEKLY (18-5-09)

I'M SURE THERE IS NO CORRELATION BETWEEN THE FACT THAT THE FRONT RUNNERS FOR THE 2009 MEDIA WHINGING AWARD ARE FROM GATESHEAD AND HULL FC, FORMERLY THE B*ST*RD-TWINS OF ONE OF RUGBY LEAGUE'S LOUSIER IDEAS.

As for people taking the pi$$ out of our travelling numbers or lack of, it is water off a ducks back for us now as we've had it for well over 3 years from all quarters.

Personally even if there are two I appreciate away fans from less traditional rugby league areas and think these people should be encouraged.

For example there were Salford fans at the Saints game Saturday, with their shirts on the lot. As I said to them it is nice to see. And more so due to the fact they were wearing their colors with pride and enjoying their day. That, to me, is what rugby league is all about. And that is coming from a Cardiff City fan who has been to some places where the locals(police and regular people) would rather you rounded up and culled on mass than drink in their city and watch the game. :)

I'm led to believe we will be acquiring a drum in midweek from the samba band that played at the Saints game.

Not sure whether I'm for or against this yet. It will make plenty of noise but will it be the right noise.

Having a pop at the travelling Celtic fans is cheap in my opinion. Imagine having to travel all the way to Wales every other week for away games, I'm sure most of us would give some games a miss (even with our mighty 10,000 stong away following  )
