He was offered a long term contract (which Wigan sensibly wouldn't have offered him) by Rugby Union.
He went on to play for England, and secured his families future.
Anyone who says that they wouldn't have done the same is either a liar or stupid.
Not often I agree with you, but here I definitely do. I'd be packed and driving down to Saracens singing "We're in the money" before you could say "Where are you going Captain?"

I would have thought that you would be the last person to question loyalty and money.

I think weve moved away from the point of the topic ..
The point is how funny is it, that a statue of KC voted for by more saints fans than voted for their new stadium looks more like the wigan legend Andy Farrell that it does KC.....

Ok lets get our something straight here once again. The KC statue was an online vote open to the entire online public and was not limited to one vote per person. The 'vote' for the stadium was nothing of the sort, but was infact a primarily mailshot and latterally a general 'canvassing' of residents of the borough to gain an indication of the support for the stadium bid. Hope that clears up your bandwagonning.
As far as the statue likeness goes, all i will say is that isn't the final incarnation.
