Address all queries to Mr. Jack Robinson.

SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS

For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.

For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.

Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row

Steve Hampson was treated apaulingly by Wigan. He was released before he'd done a full 10 years. Something like 9 years 11 months. From memory, Jack Robinson was responsible but I'm prepared to be corrected on that.

Jamie Peacock has been awarded a Testimonial by the RFL for services to the game and not to one particular club. The same way Stanley Gene has been awarded one.

Got to say this is a top signing

Hampson got robbed of his being sold just as he was coming up to one if I remember?

The Cowie decision also beggared belief. His 10th year here (2001) was also the last of his career. The club gave Andy Farrell a testimonial match/year in 2002 even though he had a big contract, which still had about 4/5 years to run at the time and he was only 26 at the time I think. Even Denis Betts got a testimonial despite not doing 10 years complete service (he did in total but went off to Auckland in between).

Very harsh on Cowie because he did a great chunk of hard graft for Wigan.

I still fail to see, although a good player, what he has done for the game to justify such an accolade, and the same goes for Stanley... They are players who get paid to do a job which brings its rewards.. If both players had/have done lots of charity/community events I can understand it, but I have never seen anything to suggest they have..

Would IL consider a joint testimonial for Hampo and Cowie now?

Whatever happened to Billy McGinty's pineapple?

"unless you hit it directly at Paul Wellens, it's several minutes before he'll arrive at the ball." Saddened

"I'm done. Brown out. If LMS, Turner or Walker get in any match day squad i will not be attending from now on in." LFC Saint

No. And the reason I say that is because Dave wouldn't let us use the JJB sacred turf!

What about a joint testimonial for all the players that rightly deserved one, but didnt get one...

The treatment of terry Oconner for his testimonial was shocking, moving a very lucrative game at the JJB to a somewhat less so, game at orrell... Because Whelan had a word with his b*tch maurice!!!

Orrell

23 - 20 - 4

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions

Surprisingly the Bradford fans received it very well and were generally interested in it. The Leeds fans were quite scathing of their player and the fact he was being granted a testimonial in the same year as JJB.

That's surprising.

Conroy - Being a Latics fan i'm already immune to watching sh*te.

Sally Cinnamon - Treat the Saints forum as you would if you met a girl from St Helens. Best policy would be to avoid altogether but if you absolutely can't resist temptation then take every possible precaution.
