this scoreboard and whoever operates it is absolutely magnificent, I can remember the old one at the B&Q end of the old ground which used to read Leigh and Visitors. when that old guy used to hang up the numbers on the hooks with a long pole.Ill tell you if any of those metal numbers had fallen on somebody it would have killed em stone dead, isnt progress wonderful

I was going to say that. You could have all that info on our big screen but it would be that small to fit it all on you wouldn't be able to read it.

Would be interested to know what info is on screens at other new grounds e.g Widnes, Halliwell-Jones etc -anyone know?

We're trying to make the scoreboard as useful as possible, but we want it to be clear and easy to understand.

We're not going to make the screen do what everyone would like, but we're going to take some time to experiment with different formats and find out what's best.

There's a lot of infrastructure to build and we're only at the beginning of the process. It's going to take some time to get to where we want to be with it, but we're making solid progress.

Scoreboard Graphics are superb. Might be nice to have a clock up there.
If you are in the West Stand not always easy to see the one there.

Does anyone else in british RL have a scoreboard as good as ours? Save when Sky has the big screen up.

Can the screen show photographs ? Would be useful when team is read out or just go through team on scoreboard, for newbies etc

not as easy as you would think Im sre even the change in the graphics took Michael some time to do and theres still the missing 'bit' of hardware to do it with (or ws that for video?)

Glad you said it "not as easy" instead of "can't be done" At least it can be done somewhere down the line......for one moment I thought LSV had invested in an over price flashy scoreboard that HP scoreboard could have competed with (info wise)
