I'm not shocked at all that a crap coach who has brought together a crap squad of players and a crap back-room staff is achieving crap results.

You forgot, the chairman is crap, and the board are crap too.

So that's settled, then. We need to sack the coach, the players, back-room staff, the Chairman and the Board.

Is that enough, or do we need to sack the bloke who does the sacking?

Not before he's sacked the stewards, groundsmen and the staff of the Bull Ring store. Oh...and Bullman and Bullboy.

Done. 25/01/17.

Yeah - it helps us in a number of ways like......

a. being embarrassing.
b. putting a big negative in our points against column.

and, erm???

Putting a really big black mark next to his name

Well, if you want to know "erm", then you could have quoted what he actually said, though I'm not surprised you didn't. But what he explained was:
Quote:“Losing by a scoreline like that probably actually helps us in some way, rather than it being a close one. It gives us the real kick up the backside we need.”

We would (I think) be in agreement ( ) that the team should nt, actually, need a kick up the backside, but the point he very clearly made, and which to be charitable you may have missed, is simply this: a player or players might over a period of days after a narrow or not too drastic defeat, persuade themselves that it wasn't that bad, or that there were understandable or acceptable explanations for it. Whereas after a fairly unmitigated disaster like that (which McNamara is the first to admit it was) no such delusion is possible.

I'd say it was a fair point.
