there was plenty of stewards to cope with normal rugby league fans not a bunch of animals like Queens, i Hope they are never allowed to play again! that would be the correct thing to happend to them. they are a disgrace to the rugby league!

Queens Arl wrote:the only reason the lad got arrested was because he hit a steward nothing to do with a little kid if this is true then he deserves everything he gets the match should be replayed behind closed doors... queens would of won the game they were on top in the 2nd half and had doncaster on the back foot
Doncaster had scored 16 points to 10 in the second half, they had scored the last two tries and gaps where starting to appear in what had been a solid Queens defence ! not sure at all that Queens would have won, but they had given as good as they had got for 55 minutes.

Never had one sent off for a few seasons as well.

I've just watched it. Shocked is an understatement, how was there only 3 arrests? Our kid was playing on saturday so we weren't there but I'm glad from what I've seen. There is an occassional 'disagreement' at games and even more rarely it goes further (Hull KR away a couple of years ago springs to mind) but Never like this.
Ive been involved with rugby league in many guises for well over 20 years now, and only had major spectator problems with 3 amateur clubs-Hunslet Parkside, Middleton (earlier this season) and the now disbanded Earlsheaton. And what have two of these clubs got in common with Queens?
No prizes for guessing I'm afraid.

Queens Arl wrote:What aload of rubbish!! i was in the crowd where it all kicked off the only reason it kicked off was because a few fans from doncaster were chanting racist comments to our fans. Yes some of the queens fans had alot to drink and some should of been thrown out but this still doesnt deserve racist abuse from Your fans!! and the incident with the "young lad" what young lad is this???? because thats aload of bollox and so is that about a pregnant woman the only person who got involved in the punch up was a steward who you have mistaken for a young lad....

Where you were sat was the south end of the east stand.

This incident happened closer to the north end of the east stand.

I haven't mistaken anybody. I know what I saw.

As for racist comments, I don't know, but in over 20 years of attending
games involving Doncaster RLFC I can say - hand on heart - I have never
experienced any racism from any Donny fan first hand.

I attend games with my wife, daughter, son and dad and have never
worried about their safety. However, thanks to the degenerates that
passed themselves off as Queens fans this has now changed.

I can understand your loyalty to your club but I think it is misplaced.
This was not caused by Doncaster. It was cause by Queens.
If I were a genuine Queens and RL supporter I would have immediatley
denounced the behaviour of these reprobates and offered a full and
contrite apology to every man, woman and especially child who had to
witness these atrocious scenes. You, however, seem to condone this
behaviour and as such should hang your head in shame.

I know a lad that got sent off at Moorends for Brotherton then in the shower got beat up by 2 players that wernt playing that day, Moorends are no better than Queens just not as many supporters

[quote="Queens Arl"]well thats aload of tripe!! there wasnt enough stewards in the 1st place but they were all on the side lines watching everybody, and if a touch judge had had something thrown at him or been spat at the match would of been abandoned straight away so thats aload of poop[/quot
I went to the Yrks cup final other year at Fev and your fans are total bellends, they think there hard because there following queens. I would love them to get a real big club in the challenge cup and try all that on, instead of against pregnant women and kids and we would see how really tough you are

So you think there weren't enough stewards so you were expecting trouble from your 'fans' then?

I've been to rugby games at the Keepmoat in the past, the security was fine to cope with a typical match, obviously it wasn't enough to cope with the animals that followed the Queens team.

I'm not the only person that has said the match officials were spat on, and I would think that hearing it from them is good enough, can't see them lying really.

I'm not taking anything away from the team, it sounds like they were putting up a good fight and wanted the win. Just a shame the thugs that followed them that day have probably screwed it up for the team getting to the next stage.

I still stand by what I said, Queens should be thrown out of the competition for this at the least, you can't put other people in danger at grounds where the thugs are likely to follow. Disbanding the club wouldn't be a bad idea either, the RFL is the sports governing body so what ever they decide to do at the end of the day goes.

It's all disgusting, I hope everyone involved gets well and truly screwed over!
