NRL have spent $25m to give free passes to Junior footy players.
166,000 free passes are being designated to children and club officials. The pass gets you in to NRL games for free and gives juniors other special offers.
I have to say this is a fantastic gesture, to give them to the juniors as well as all the other grades that get them.
Hopefully that'll increase the attendances in the NRL. Though the figures will be a false reflection as to paying customers.

That's great news. Is it free regardless or do they have to ahve a paying adult with them? If the latter then it could make a big difference to paying attendees
WEST COAST PIRATES NRL expansion? Sometime soon, maybe......

Seriously mate that has been going on for years hasn't it? free entry for junior footy players?
Not all junior reps. No. Flegg. Yes. As they had to get into the stadia. This time it's also some school players.
Passes are nothing new. They way it works, is you simply turn up and get general admission. As for places Like Parra, you have to got to box office, get it swiped and they give you a general admission ticket.
Doesn't Dally have a comment about this? What if the overall attendances do no go up by atleast say, 180- 200,000 next season. As an example there were weekends where I could get to 4 NRL games in the Sydney Region in one weekend on an NRL pass. 160,000 kids can do the same. And if they did go up by only that amount, you know that the NRL paid $25m for it to happen.
Still good for the kids and good for the future of the game here. That's the important thing.
