this is what the bulk of the fans have been calling for tonight , brute force combined with expansive rugby
not seen the game on tv yet , but from my view fron the stand not many were at fault , it looked to be a TEAM performance , all round good footy
maybe the sky + version will show something differnt , but qhy cant we play this kind of stuff every week ? im not arsed if we get beat if we play that style of rugby
your thoughts?

Got to agree, we played with a bit of flair tonight and it was a joy to watch. Proper rugby as you put it.
My only worry is how long will it last? If we can play like that all year - unlikely - we'll be right up there come playoffs time. If we get smashed next week, it will be all doom and gloom again!
My series link on Sky+ failed so I'm waiting for the 12.30 re-run now
23 - 20 - 4
Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions
I said on another thread we were really entertaining, if we lose next week to Leeds away I wont care if we play just like we did tonight, but then again playing like that no many teams will beat us.
Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good - sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league - Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate - the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever - Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go - Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know - FIOS
Everyone around me was commenting on the quality of Rugby played.
Very fast thinking and passing with few dropped.
The quality has improved as has the team. Also it isn't freezing cold anymore.
Already looking forward to next week.

We was playing some good rugby, but I think what was more obvious was that we had a solid game plan and the players stuck to it all through the game.
I bet Deacon feels like he got hit by about 10 busses this morning. Every time we play Bradford Nobby seems to know that if you run at Deacon it will cause big problems, it's happened over the past and it happened alot last night, Gaz Hock was outstanding in doing this.
