Saints ground out a 0-4 win against the new comers tonight.

Torrential rain plighted the game apparently, but taking my Saints specs off for a moment, well done Celtic. They got 6,500 through the gates (more than a Union game up the road) and pushing a side which is well known in that part, with many former Saints being of Welsh origin, will only serve to push the cause in the area.

Well done Celtic, and best of luck for the rest of the season.

My only regret is I couldn't make it.

Yeah well done Celtic - that showing won't have done them any harm. Just need a few victories now.

I'd like to pick you up on the weather. It was light drizzle and even then it wasn't constant throughout the game.

Didn't Salford beat Celtic fairly comfortably?

Decent crowd given the weather. Yet another game where Mr SLong fails to kick a goal.

I just wish for the sake of coolness that we had won it 1-0.

But Celtic need to win a few of the buzz around the club will quickly disappear.

Sounds like a great defensive performance from both sides, well done to them.

Very encouraging crowd as well, hope they liked what they saw and will come be back at the Brewery for more.

Sounds like a good defensive display by the newcomers.

One thing that made me laugh last night was when the Half Time score come on Sky, Stevos claims he wasn't surprised at all. :D . what a load of balls! Even repeated it later on in the show.
