I really thought the hatred towards Whelan was universal amongst anyone who cared about Wigan RLFC, but the number of fans who were quite happy to part with their cash and purchase food and drink from his kiosks inside the ground really did surprise me.

Apart from that, it was a great day.

75-0 Gets you Nothing.
27-0 Gets you a trophy.

At the fans forum, Mr Lenegan clearly asked us to continue buying pies, beer etc in the ground as if we didnt then Whelan would have no option but to put the rent up.

Its all factored in.

Ian Lenaghan has already stated that if ppl refuse to buy within the ground, Whelan will simply put the rent up to cover this.

Fook Whelan. Let's go to Leigh instead.

Dan Sarginson: "This is a fantastic opportunity for me to join the biggest name in the competition" 18/10/2013

Tony Clubb: "This is a new exciting chapter of my life signing for Wigan and I couldn't be happier" 18/10/2013

Romain Navarrete: “I’m very happy to have signed for Wigan Warriors. As soon I knew that Wigan were interested, they were the only team that I wanted to sign for. To me, Wigan is the biggest Club in Rugby League and it will be an honour to pull on the famous Cherry-and-White jersey next year. I look forward to working with Shaun Wane and the players at Wigan.”

People were always going to calm down. A boycott was never a long term solution.

The dissapointment for me was the attendance unfortunately.

I thought 12,000 and odd was poor.

Luckily, we will have earned some support back tonight.
