After the game head down Annandale Road, then Amethyst Road, Staveley Road, then onto A165 and onto Bridlington. The traffic is usually lighter going that way than heading back to Holderness Road (also roadworks are starting this week). Its not the most scenic route (where in Hull is and as plenty of speed bumbs) but it will get you on your way.

Parked on Preston Road for years and not had a problem - just don't park in my place.

Good advice John... and if parking in Soccer Sensation before the game:

a) Cheaper
b) Will be able to exit faster.... turn right onto Annandale then follow Johns route

We park on Preston Road too, if you're there early enough you can get pretty near the ground but at worst you'd have a 5-10 minute walk. Better for getting away after the game too, the car park's are a nightmare to get out of.
