I'd go with that too. Always rated Wild, and was playing really well towards the end of his time at Wigan. Good centre, with good defence - and would swap him for Phelps, Goulding or Pryce tomorrow
Don't worry - It only seems kinky the first tiime you try it!

Pryce?
That would be an act of faith, swapping a never-was for a definitely-may-be (who also happens to be younger).

Wild had quite a bit of pace too and a lot of heart and determination. Mike Gregory wanted to keep him but ML said we had to sell him to keep Adrian Lam IIRC. Saints have been sniffing around him while he has been at Huddersfield also.
He is a good player Steven Wild. Fortunately we are blessed with Second row/loose forwards so he isn't a major loss. Although I would still take him over Phil Bailey.

Huddersfield and those players played really well against us (saints) last week. I think last night was just a bad day at the office so to speak. I think Hudds will be up there at the end of the season when it matters.
Out of all the players on show last night who we've let go the only 2 i'd be interested in having back are Danny Tickle(who i've always rated very highly when on top form) and more suprisingly Kev Brown.
Brown has started the season very well and didn't do too badly last night. He looks to have matured quite abit and is getting his head down and working hard(i'll forgive him his one brain fart of a pass into touch).
Wild really suprised me last night with how lazy he was. He's been such a hard working player for Huddersfield these last couple of years but looked un-interested last night.
