It's not only Rovers fans that are paying it. FC have about 8000 passholders and a sellout would be 23000, leaving 15000 tickets to sell. Are you bringing 15000? Probably half that.
You do talk absolute tosh , if Hull were so charitable why not donate the pound for every passholder as well. You didn't pay a 70% premium you already know how much it costs to get into CP at the beginning of the season. The Derby's are well attended so it would be foolish to offer the B/W a discount , do you have any business sense?

I'll ask the question again, seeing that no one seems able to answer it. How many games, other than the derbies, saw a £17 charge for the South Stand last season? I agree it's good business sense to charge whatever you can get, but you can't then criticise FC for charging a much smaller premium over the normal price and giving it away to charity. Since Rovers have charged £10 for the South Stand for each game so far, it will be interesting to see whether they give any charge over and above the customary £10 to charity this year or whether they just keep it.

You do have the choice, you either pay it or you don't get a ticket. Would you be happier if FC just put a £1 on the price because it was a derby and kept the money for themselves?

The key diffrence is that the cost you lot paid to watch at CP was always the price you just didn't get the discount.
The £1 extra we are talking about isn't part of the usual price but something you have just slung on top for 1 game.

I dont agree with you putting your price up to 17 quid but yes it is good business sense. On the flip side, Isnt it good buisness sense from hull, we give 1 quid of the ticket price to charity but still dont lose any of our own money too?

If it was "always the price", how many other sets of away supporters were charged it last season? Not sure why this is such a difficult question.
