Dowes and Cusack have been very strong going forward, Tickle has been international standard and Radders has been excellent too.
Got to agree , I thought we'd struggle after Carvell jumped ship but the forwards are really giving it a go. Add to that Crocker ,Lauiaki and a fit Moa , The pack is looking pretty formidable.

Indeed, once they agree to something, they stick to it!

We move on after Carvell. We have in our squad 80 minute props, quality fit half backs, focused centres and quality wingers. What a great position for a focussed coach to have to cope with !

If I was Carvell I'd be wondering why I never grew some balls, stood up to her and stayed where I was....

Turns out Carvell was just holding us back really.
Interesting to hear Radders on RH coming back - saying how utterly hacked off he'd been personally with his own performances last season, in such a bad mood after the games it'd be Tuesday before he'd speak to his missus, and he was determined things would be different this year. He's certainly led from the front so far this year.

Great point. Normally we would be waiting for Carvell to return from whatever injury but I though Cusack and Dowes really bent the line tonight.

Indeed . I think the forwards where a little put out regarding the Carvell scenario and are responding in a way to answer that.
