Getting back to the thread. What about the Smith factor? We may still have a hangover from being bested by Manly and the Wires players will want to prove something to Smith. Makes for another tough one.

Also worth considering Danny at Centre - Sin at 6. Defence would be no worse than Ablett or Watkins and attack would be much improved - Donald may even get a pass!

I think that Smith will turn Wire around but it’ll take a season or tow – from the comments that Cullan made on B&A this week I think there’s very little cohesion in the camp so expect to see some big names dropped to the reserves or dropped for good.

If TS have proved one thing in his coaching career so far is that he’s not scared to lose a game or two to prove a point.

Are you guys bringing many over to the hj?

If it was that easy, why wasn't Cullen doing that when he was in charge there ...

In terms of the Smith factor it will be intriguing to see if the 17 is different from previous weeks. Apart from in the second row of course which will be enforced not optional.

Because Cullen didn’t have the cohonies to drop top players if they ‘miss-behaved’ – Smith will.

I see 3 possible outcomes tommorow:

1. We'll thrash them, despite Smith's arrival they still lack confidence and when put 40+ points on them

2. Very close game for 60-70mins, but we run away with it a little at the end

3. A bad day at the office, a few injuries, a 10+ point loss, not a day to remember.
