The supposed article isnt that bad an whoever wrote was pretty spot on with their views so if i was smailes for once i congratulate him
. As for the bird saga my mates here in aus are laughing their tits of at this and just shows how bad he Rfl are at managing high pofile situations.while i am on my soapbox whats Catalans going to do next get SBW and carney as well because they obviously dont have the same salary cap either.Sorry if this seems similar to another post elsewhere on the forum its early in the morning still and my head is still up my booty from a few stubbies last night.
ps
Hull are top of the league,Hull are top of the league
I don't disagree with the article, but it is not very professional to attach quotes to someone who has not made them, which seems to be the case here.
I think it is a bit harsh people trying to point the finger at Catalans for taking advantage of the situation to sign Bird. At the end of the day, they have done nothing wrong and have not broken any rules, and let’s not forget, at the moment Bird is an innocent man.
I also have a degree of sympathy with the RL. This is a unique situation, which has not arisen before. I agree the rules should be changed so that any player, who would not qualify for a British working visa, should not be allowed to play for Cat's. But at the end of the day that rule does not exist yet and it would have been a bit out of order for the RL to introduce it now that the season has started. However I would be extremely disappointed if they did not implement this rule for next season and beyond.
