Hopefully, he'll spend the whole two days looking at how we communicate in defence, and then probably the next few weeks or so after that, or as long is needed until it sinks in and we are defensively sound.
I hope Penny plays on Sunday.
I also hope he makes Chris Bridge believe that he's his answer to Danny McGuire.
I hope we play expansive Cull style rugby, but when we don't have it, we can cope much. much better.
What we don't have, that Leeds did is that Kevin Sinfield, that bloke on the field who seems to make everything tick, communicates, lifts people etc, call it what you will 'a presence', who will Smith look to at Warrington to do this ?
I can't really imagine wholesale changes. I do expect to see Penny back in. Didn't Smith put him in the train-on squad in 2007?
I'd think
Hicks at fb
Wingers Penny and King
Centres Bridge and Gleeson
Usual half backs
Clarke to start
Props - Morley and Cooper
Back row - both Andersons plus McCarthy

Cooper? Is that what you think or what you hope?

I would hope he would ditch the old style Bradford tactics we are using in attack.
Show them a recording of the defensive effort against Saints,(FIRST 50 MINS )
And start with John Clarke, using Mickey higham to do what he is there for, which is to make a big impact off the bench.

He isn't picking the team on Sunday FYI
Union is played by people who close airports after a bit of snow, League is played by people who would go and have a snowball fight with a 747

We're the first ones to starve, we're the first ones to die The first ones in line for that pie-in-the-sky And we're always the last when the cream is shared out For the worker is working when the fat cat's about
