Just another example of what a joke of a publication the daily wail is. Those comments could have got Agar in serious hot water with the RL.

I realise how important for the club exposure in the local media is, but what is the point if the paper can’t even quote the coach correctly in a one to one interview/conversation.

Is it true that Richard Agar's favorite movie of all time is Groundhog Day or does he just generally like the same boring s**t day after day, season after season?

Sounds a bit like a Jeremy Clarkson retraction over a one eyed prime minister

Only he is not retracting the statements, he is claiming that he never made them in the first place. If he made the statements in the heat of the moment and then retracted them after further consideration, then fair do's, but if he has not made the statements at all, then this again reflects very badly on the mail in general, but especially James Smails.

I did make the point the other day that things that James Smailes writes and quotes to Agar shouldnt always be taken as gospel!

Sounds more like Agar does Smailes work for him too just to ensure accuracy in reporting which Smailes seems incapable of grasping!! Typical HDM.

Works for me. Just go to Hullfc.com and it's on there.

I tried. Wouldn't call up. Thought there was a problem with site. I'll try again
