And what makes him good enough to start?
Why isn't the likes of Prescott awarded the same grace?

I think thats more a case of thats what he was brought into do , just like you i don't pick the teams ,T.L goes well at hooker but thats not is selected position in the squad either . A s for Prescott i don't no why others get picked before him .

I think Prescott is injured. He played in the reserves friendly but there's been no word on whether he came through that unscathed.

1 friendly v Widnes.

That was on the Thursday night before the Quins game and Riddell couldn't have played as McIlorum was suspended.

Can you imagine the furor had Riddell played and got a slight injury that kept him out of the Quins game.

The Leigh one was postponed as Leigh couldn't raise a team.

SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS

For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.

For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.

Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row

For me, with Riddell it's two issues one outcome.

Issue one: Injured. If this is the case, rest him, let him get fit then we'll see a top notch 9 to make us all happy.

Issue two: Fitness. If he's not fit he doesn't deserve a first team place. There will be young lads seeing an over weight out of shape aussie picked over them for no reason. Hardly inspiring selection.

Outcome: an under par player.

If it was fitness reasons then play him to get fit but people on here are saying he is injured. He is not going to recover from injury playing
