It is believed that Rovers are agrieved at the £1 extra on the ticket price.

Fc very nicely said they would donate the extra £1 to charity but it is the Rovers Fans who will be paying for it and not the 12,000 passholders they have.

If this is the case its another massive blunder by the FC marketing team. Surely they would have been better to say that tickets are x amount and then after the game announced a donation to charity and nobody would have been the wiser.

Rather than announcing the charge could have done bucket collections etc.

Understandable since Rovers operate such a consistent pricing policy and donate any differential to charity. Shameful double standards.

I emailed Hull FC to ask them to clarify the situation regarding the charity donation from tickets being sold, and asked if they will also be donating a percentage of season ticket revenue for this game. ie if they are donating a pound from every ticket sold will they also be donating a pound from every season pass used for the game, meaning that if the attendance were 18000, then they would be donating 18000, this way Hull FC as a club would be making a donation. Alternatively, leave the price the same with them donating a pound from each ticket. As things stand at the moment the donation will be coming from anyone who buys a ticket, thus mainly Rovers fans, not Hull FC. If money is only going in from ticket sales, surely it would have been better to have had a bucket collection, then the Hull fans could have contributed aswell.

I'm still awaiting a reply...

It's Children In Need, so when all this Hull-Rovers bickering is put to 1 side, I really don't see any problems with making money for a very worthy cause.

We should set the tone by rising above this issue. I look forward to my opportunity to stand in a queue for 2 hours and buy my tickets.
