OK, I’ll try to assess why you would say this.
It cannot be for anything I’ve actually written so it can only be an attempt to tar me as a bitter little Widnes fan that only wants to whinge about not being given a licence. This would be very convenient wouldn’t it?
However, as I have already said, neither I nor any other Widnes fan has been on this thread, with the obvious exception of Fingerpostsfinest who doesn’t seem to be all there at times, whinging about Salford or Celtic or the decisions made by the RFL last June. The majority are well over that and are currently trying to enjoy our continued existence in the lower leagues.
I have made this abundantly clear in my earlier posts. Therefore I have given you no reason at all to construct your last little rant.
The only subject I’m dealing with here is your attitude towards a comment made by a supporter of another club, that Widnes may be able to get 10,000 supporters with a top 8 club in SL. That’s it!
It was a perfectly reasonable remark, I’m not saying it was correct, but it's not exactly out-there either. I understand you regard the RFL’s decision as fair and can see why you would say you are glad odemwingie was not making the decision last June, but what you wrote at the end both insults Widnes supporters and odemwingie for the mere mention of it.
That is what has become the norm here. If you had just left it at:

But you just couldn’t could you. You seem to need to put such positive comments about some clubs down with a snide remark. I can only assume to intimidate anyone else from being in anyway positive about lower league, non-expansion clubs?
Now, to add insult to injury, you have decided to take a few looney Widnes fans’ comments over the past few months, and make the assumption we are all the same, when you couldn’t be further from the truth. Sadly you’re not the only one on this board with that view. It’s also a very convenient tactic to employ when making the mistake of typing something that shows you up for what you really are.
